Mail Call!

Sorry about the lack of post the past week. I have still managed to get my daily giveaway posts up, but that was about it. I worked quite a bit last week, had a bunch of projects to finish up before spring break at school, and kept my newborn nephew for two days! I forgot how much is impossible to get done with a cranky baby! The past few days have been really nice weather, so I have been enjoying it outside with my family and it has also given me spring fever. So, I have been deep cleaning and reorganizing lots around here. Isn't it weird how nice weather makes you feel like doing that?

Despite all that, I managed to cross a few more polishes off my wishlist...

Nubar White Polka Dot, Black Polka Dot
To be honest, I was slightly disappointed with these polishes. They were runnier than I had anticipated, and it was difficult to get the larger dots on the nail. I had to shake the bottle frequently, and do a lot of dabbing. I did a coat of each over purple, though, and it looked really cute.

Lunch at the Del-hi, Koala Bear-y, Keys to My Karma
These colors aren't very similar in real life, it's just this crap camera not capturing colors very well. Lunch at the Del-hi is a dusty rose creme, leaning a little coral. Koala Bear-y, if you couldn't have guessed, is a really pretty raspberry creme/jelly. It's opaque in two coats, so I wouldn't say it's a true jelly, but it dries with the really shiny, squishy finish of a jelly. And the shade is just gorgeous...like a hot pink mixed with purple. Last, Keys to My Karma is a true red jelly. I am excited to try this one, too. I really like reds and I love a jelly finish. I haven't had a red jelly, yet! Hopefully it doesn't disappoint, but I also have my eye on an Essie red jelly, too.

  1. Weeee! So much fun! I've been eyeing Nubar's black and white dots for awhile now ... Sucks that they're runny. Maybe leave them open a bit? =)

  2. Hmmm...I will try that. I have been eyeing them for a while, myself, and finally just went ahead and bought them. I'm not a huge glitter fan, but, I do have a thing for black & white glitters.
