When I first got the polishes that I wanted from the Hunger Games Collection, Fast Track wasn't one of them. I went back to pick up Lux & Lush, but they were sold out, so I grabbed this one instead. I am so glad, because actually it is one of my favorites that I got from the collection!!
Normally I don't wear nudes or neutral colors, but I offered to help audit my store with some company big wigs, so I figured I should tone down the bright, colorful polish for a day.
Fast Track is a beige/tan color that is PACKED with what looks like green & gold micro glitter. This polish definitely pulls towards the tan/gold side on my light skin tone, but I can see how it would probably be more 'nude' on someone with a different complexion than I.
It's rather cloudy today, so I didn't get a nice direct sunlight shot, but trust me...the glitter in this is amazing. It's not a glitter polish, more like a shimmer, but it really shines! I had no problem with application, and like with all lighter colors, it's very forgiving. Use a shade like this if you are in a hurry and don't have time for clean up! The polish was pretty much opaque with two coats, but there was a little VNL still in the sunlight. Three coats would have taken care of that.

Fast Track was the only color I picked up out of the Hunger Games collection. I wasn't sure about it at first but it has grown on me. :)

That's the same way I felt about it!! :)
DeleteBeautiful color. I really want to go buy it!
ReplyDeleteIt is very beautiful!
DeleteNot my favourite of the Hunger Games polishes but still very nice.
ReplyDeleteI also had bought Riveting, Stone Cold, and Smoke and Ashes, but ended up not caring for those so much. lol. Go figure.
DeleteI bought the whole collection but figured there'd be a few I didn't like much in person. Fast Track was a VERY pleasant surprise. It's in my top 3 of the collection now.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Fast Track was a pleasant surprise for me, too. I happened to pick it up because I was sure that I had nothing similar to it, and I'm so glad that I did! I honestly didn't end up liking Riveting that much in person. I thought it would look more like 'fire', but it just kinda looked like a neon orange shimmer to me.
