Also, a couple updates...first, since I hit 1300 followers, I will be adding Zoya Kristen to the giveaway pool. I think I am going to pick anywhere from 4 - 6 winners, just depending on how many prizes there ends up being. That way each person can get 5 or 6 little gifts. I will separate all the prizes into sets and the first name I pick will get to pick theirs first, then the second, etc. Hopefully that is ok with everyone.

The next month is going to be pretty hectic for me. I am going to do the best I can to keep up with blogging. I will still be posting giveaways ending, but I will try to keep up posting swatches and hauls...stuff like that. To be completely honest, my mom has been suffering from serious alcoholism for years now. Well, this past week she has hit what most would say, rock bottom. So, now she is staying with me and we are helping her and taking care of her. There is a long road ahead, but I am hoping that being a part of a loving family again will help her on her road to recovery.

So, that, on top of everything I already do...work, school, my daughter, taking care of my man-child of a fiance...will probably start taking a bit away from blogging time. Thankfully, though, school will be over in the next month, so that will be one load off my back.

Oh boy, maybe I should have made this a separate post?! lol.

Ok, well....Happy Easter everyone! Hope you have a safe and fun holiday! Blog you on Monday! :)

  2. Good luck with everything. I think its very unselfish of you to take care of your mother and in the end, it will be what's best for both of you. You're lucky to be given such an opportunity to be there for someone like that. Enjoy her presence in your life for what its worth and best of luck to her and you. :)

  3. I can certainly relate with the alcoholic mum thing. I wish I had the kind of strength to be able to look after my mum that way. I guess part of it comes from my mum being so stubborn that no matter how hard we try, she doesn't seem to want the help.

It's certainly hard. Good luck with everything and I really hope that being around loving family will help her through it. :)

    1. Well, believe me, she has been very stubborn for a long time now. Recent events in her life have brought her to a point where she just has no other option. I don't know if she really WANTS to be sober, but hopefully once she is for a while, she will see how much better she feels and is.

Thank you for your well wishes!

  4. Awww dang when I win I wanted the whole shabang! JK. More winners sounds awesome. I'd be happy with a pen, I mean, it's freeeeeeeee after all. But if I win, don't just send me a pen. Seriously. And I'm sorry to hear about your mom. That can be rough. It's something that is dealt with in my family, so my thoughts are with you and your loved ones!

    1. Well, I just don't want anyone to be angry because I had originally intended the entire prize to go to one person. But, once I saw how much polish I ended up adding, I figured I could share the love with more people.

Also, thank you for your support.
