Sinful Colors Neon Fusion

^^^I just realized I wrote the name of the polish wrong in the title!! OOPPS!

I love neons, but why do they have to be so difficult?! Application, photography, just everything. Fusion Neon is a serious neon pink creme. Three coats is a must with this polish. It dries matte, so I used Seche Vite to make it shine.

I had to take a bunch of different pics in different places/lighting to try to do this neon justice. It's BRIGHT.

OPI Just Spotted The Lizard

I don't have many words for this post except, Wow! This polish is just beautiful. OPI's Just Spotted The Lizard has definitely made my top ten for this year, and it may be hard to beat. An amazing gold/green duochrome polish from the recent Spiderman Collection. I got a ridiculous amount of compliments on it just in the first day that I had it on.

The first coat goes on kinda sheer, but the second coat makes it all perfect. I'll let the pics do the talking.

Julep Hayden

Julep Hayden, while tedious to apply, is well worth the payoff. A bright neon, orange-y peach, is perfect for summer. This color makes even the lightest hands look tan. The first thing the girls at work said to me when I wore this was, "Oh, I love your nail polish. It makes you look so tan!".

I would definitely consider this a neon polish, so you need two coats for full coverage and to even it all out.  I did find that it chipped rather quickly even though I used my normal regimen of base & top coats. I would venture to say this probably dries matte-ish without a top coat, but I am never patient enough to find out. I always put on top coat while my polish is still tacky.

Also, like with most neons, my camera had a hard time capturing the brightness of this polish. I mean, this is bright. It looks like it would glow in the dark. Not quite as bright as some of the neon  yellows out right now, but pretty close.

Zoya Skylar

Zoya Skylar is a gorgeous dusty slate blue with tons of multi-colored shimmer in it. Zoya says it's gold and silver, but I swear I saw blue and pink in there as well. Irregardless of the color of shimmer, this polish is a serious beaut, and I can't believe it took me so long to wear it!!

Application was just how I like it...a complete breeze. If you like blues, you need this in your collection!!

Zoya Kate

I have a love/hate relationship with jelly polishes. And it's a very thin line. On one hand, I love the shiny, squishy finish of a jelly. The bright, yet sheer colors.  Then comes the dislikes...how it seems to want to pull away from my tips no matter what I do. Ones that are TOO sheer. Some make it look like there dirt under my fingernails, even though they are clean. Ugh.

Zoya Kate falls somewhere on the love/hate line. I would love the bright pinkish-red color, but it's just a bit too sheer, in my opinion. Also, I don't find the color to be that unique. I am pretty sure OPI's Texas Collection did jellies like this, but better. Don't get me wrong, I still love Zoya, this was just a miss for me personally.

Kate was a limited edition shade that was sold in the Blogger Collection by Birchbox.

Did you guys buy the Blogger Trio?? What did you think of the colors?

OPI - Skull and Glossbones

I love this polish. Seriously. This is hands down my favorite, go-to light grey creme. I have used it for lots of bases for nail art. Zoya has some similar shades, but theirs tend to lean blue or purple. I haven't tried Dove, though, so that may be closer. Irregardless, this is the first polish that I know I will be using up and I will absolutely be re-purchasing when I use it up!

Application was a breeze, I did three coats just to be safe for pictures, but with careful application it could be an easy 2 coater.

Do you have any go to colors that you find yourself using again and again? I also did some fun nail art with this I will be posting tomorrow :)
