Where are the hauls!?!?
Here are my polish additions from the past two weeks. I figured out I haven't been hauling as much since now I am done with school, so I'm not out stalking drug stores like I used to. I would stop at 4 different drugstores at least once a week on my way home from school. Now, I only go if I am looking for something in particular.
Not to mention, I have been spending so much money on my garden. Every time I drop another 60, 70 dollars....I think how much polish that could have been. Oh well, though, it's fun to have another hobby and something that I can share with my daughter all summer.
Anyways, here are the polishes I got the last two weeks.

Julep Anne
Julep Anne is a bright, springy violet shade. Julep describes it as an ultra-saturated violet creme. Anne is a beautiful shade, and definitely ultra saturated. You can have full coverage in one thick coat with this polish. Also, easy enough with two thinner coats if that is more your painting style. My only two complaints with this polish are that it chipped really fast, and dried very dull. You will certainly need a top coat to bring out the shine in this polish.
Other than that, not too much to say about it.
1 coat Orly Bonder, 2 coats Anne, 1 coat SV

No giveaways?!
That's right...there are no giveaways ending today. Isn't that something. I have noticed that this month has been a bit slower than previous. There are significantly less ending on the 31st as there have been the last few months. I think for a while there were just so many, and now bloggers are kinda taking a break from hosting so many.
Anyways, I'm still trying to get caught up with blog posts. I have one swatch post that I need to edit pics for. I also have a couple ideas for nails this weekend, but we will see if I even have time to do them. I spent nearly three days planting a vegetable garden with my mom and daughter...well, birds came along and ate all 70 of my plants!! So, now I have to go buy more and do it all over again. Shouldn't take as long this time, but frustrating none the less. I've been given a few tips about keeping the birds away, so hopefully it doesn't happen again.
My fiance bought me a new laptop for graduating college. YAY! It's really nice, too. So, now I will have more opportunities to work on blogging and stuff since I won't be limited to the desktop computer. I'm so happy. I've also been thinking of upgrading to a better camera already. The one I have works well enough, but I can see in my head how I want my pictures to look, and I just don't think this camera quite has the capability. IDK, I also need to try some new things with lighting to see if that helps.
I should be getting my second Helmer this week because I have completely ran out of room in my first one. I have about 20 polishes sitting on top that will not fit and I have had to put polishes in drawers that they don't belong in because there is just no more room. I'm also getting some swatch sticks, so I will be able to organize my stash by color on the sticks. I think it's going to be quite the task for over 500 polishes, though. Yikes!
Just thought I would update a bit since there weren't any giveaways to post. Have a great day!!

China Glaze Pink Plumeria
Pink Plumeria is one of the shades that was just released in the summer neon collection. It's a bright, shimmering pink, although I wouldn't necessarily classify it as a neon. My camera sure would, though. Two of these pics are color accurate, the others came out more orange-y/coral. The display screen on my camera, I have found, doesn't really show the pics as they are going to show up on the computer, so it's hard to judge if I got any color accurate ones or not before I go to edit and crop.
This does dry with a satin matte finish, so a top coat is required for a glossy look. Overall, I really liked this color. It's super flattering, and it a bright, fun summer shade without being too over the top neon. I used three coats for maximum intensity, but two would have sufficed.

Nail Polish Survey
I saw this survey on Embellished Nails, and thought it would be fun to do. Leave me a comment if you decide to do this! I would love to read everyone else's answers!
How many polishes do you have in your stash?
A little over 500 now
Which brand do you own the most of?
China Glaze. With Essie, OPI, Zoya, and Sinful Colors all close behind.
What colors do you own the most of?
Oh boy, probably coral-ish shades.
Do you have a color/texture you do not own?
Nope. lol.
What's the one polish you always pick up to lift your spirits?
Anything bright and easy to apply. I always am trying to use different polishes that are untrieds, so I don't really stick to one polish.
What polish do you keep looking at and wondering why you haven't gotten rid of it yet?
Klean Colors...I have been letting my daughter use them and they are starting to get pretty thick and goopy!
Franken any? or I'm nervous to try it?
I haven't tried. I admire others that come up with such beautiful polish, so I will just leave it to them :)
Do you franken for new/original polish ideas or franken for polish you won't be able to own?
If I did franken, it would be for fun, new shades that I wanted but couldn't find.
Go-to Base Coat?
Orly Bonder
Go-to Top Coat?
Seche Vite.
What's your sexiest polish?
Anything dark and sparkly
Stamping vs Free Hand?
I don't have much experience with stamping, so free hand for now!
Bling me, baby? or No bling for me, please!
Rhinestone mani's are so pretty, but I have never done one myself. But, I sometimes do like a super glittery mani, so it just depends.
I consider my nails basically nekkid if they don' t have some kind of design?
Not at all. I mostly only wear one color manis with no nail art.
My favorite plate/tool/technique?
Anything that I can use my striping polish or dotting tools! lol.
What I haven't tried and want to within the month?
I want to try the skinny striping tape.
The one elusive polish you want and can't seem to get?
Essie Greenport
What was the last nail related thing you bought?
China Glaze Summer Neon collection
How many nail related hauls have you bought in the last 7 days (on-line/in-person)?
Just one haul, and bought a couple polishes here and there.
If you've ever been on a no-buy, how long did it last? Is that what you planned?
I was on a no-buy for a couple months back in the winter because I didn't have a job. That was pretty much what I planned.
(and one question to grow on) Hobby? Addiction? Compulsion? Passing Fancy? Love?
Started as a hobby and is now definitely an Addiction/Compulsion. I can't just buy a few from a collection, I need the entire line. I don't know why. I may be getting out of hand.

Essie Turquoise & Caicos
Polish posts will be kinda slow this week. My weekend was super busy, so I didn't have much time for swatching. I have lots of yard work to do these next few days...planting flowers and getting my garden ready for planting so I probably won't get 'caught up' til Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully.
Anyways, I do have Essie's Turquoise & Caicos to show you today. If you have been into polish for long, you have probably already seen this color a number of times because it is a favorite among bloggers. Can't hurt to see it again, though :)
A beautiful dusty turquoise that leans a little more green than China Glaze For Audrey. Application was perfect. I used three coats for the pics, but for normal wear, two coats would have been sufficient. Also, I have to say, I got three good days out of this mani without any chips, and that was even with a full days worth of gardening (with gloves). I was really impressed. I don't know if it was the polish, or maybe because I let my base coat completely dry before applying. I don't know. But, when I took it off, it was because I wanted to change colors, not because of wear.
1 coat Orly Bonder, 3 coats T&C, 1 coat SV

China Glaze Sunshine Pop
Sunshine Pop is a pretty yellow with very subtle shimmer in it that gives it almost a frosty finish. Like, if you look super close, you can see the brush strokes like a frost. I don't usually care much for frosts, but I love this polish. The shimmer and frostiness sets it apart from other yellow cremes.
Application is like with most yellows, but this was one of the least offensive. I applied three coats for complete even-ness in the pics, but somehow managed to only need two on my right hand. Go figure.
1 coat Orly Bonder, 3 coats Sunshine Pop, 1 coat SV.
