June Giveaway

Hey everyone!! We are coming into a new month, which could only mean one thing...a new giveaway for you all! :)

This month I have up for grabs....a mini OPI Spiderman set, a Julep base coat, Julep nail file, and a mini Pedi set. I didn't have as much extra money for a giveaway this month as I thought I would, so I just may be adding some extras to this later on. :)

Monthly Winnings - May

I won some AMAZING goodies this month....take a look. :)

Pretty in Paint had a giveaway for reaching 500 likes on FB. I didn't win the entire Essie collection, but I did get A Crewed Interest and Tour De Finance.

There was a Birthday/Blogiversary giveaway over at Fingers Polish Mania that I won. I can't believe I actually managed to get this huge prize! This was definitely the highlight of my month....other than graduating college, that is. lol.

And finally, I won an Essie Poppy-razzi Collection from Classy and Fabulous!!! I have been wanting these polishes since I first saw swatches...I'm glad I didn't buy them yet! :)

Orly Prisma Gloss Gold over Au Champagne

This was the base to my Memorial Day Mani. I snapped a few pics of it before I started the nail art, so I figured I would share. Prisma Gloss Gold is a fine gold shimmer with some holo glitter splashed throughout it. The gold pretty much over powers that, though. I want to swatch this again, but do 3 coats to see how it turns out. I think it will look really pretty and bling-y. I have a feeling I will be using this polish lots when I want some gold glitter!

1 coat Orly Bonder, 2 coats Au Champagne, 1 coat Prisma Gloss Gold.
I didn't use any base coat since I was doing more polish over top of this.

I did two coats on my thumb, but then decided that it ended up looking too gold for what I was going for. Look how pretty, though. I can't wait to see what three coats will look like!

Nail Art - Memorial Day Mani

I wore this mani yesterday for Memorial Day. I will probably keep in on all day today, as well, so I can show it off at work :)

I started off with two coats of Orly Au Champagne, then put a coat of Orly Prisma Gloss Gold over it. Next, I cut a piece of scotch tape in half, placed it in a diagonal line across my nail, then painted one coat of OPI Big Apple Red and two coats of China Glaze Ride the Waves. When the tape started getting gunky, I just used acetone and wiped it off. Amazingly, it had enough stick power for all my nails. Who woulda thunk it? Finally, I added the gold stripes with the LA Colors nail art polish in Gold Glitter and topped it off with a healthy coat of SV.

What do you think? It kinda reminds me of Captain America. lol.

Essie Tart Deco

I have another beautiful spring color for you today. I have a hard time describing this color, because I feel it's too orange to be called coral, yet there is enough pink in it for it not to be a true orange. Maybe more of a salmon color. It's bright and fun for spring...just bright enough to get noticed, but not bright enough to look crazy. Love.

Two careful coats is all it took, but you will want to be cautious when applying because it drags really easily. I also had a bit more pooling in my cuticles than normal, but that happens sometimes. I will take it when it comes to this shade.

1 coat Orly Bonder, 2 coats Tart Deco, 1 coat SV
